The HER FUND consortium is coordinated by The Edge in Sofia (Bulgaria) and is made up of 9 partners spread across 7 countries, representing both Better Connected Innovation Ecosystems (BCIE) and Less Connected Innovation Ecosystems (LCIE).

Each partner brings unique expertise in foreign investment, innovation systems, start-ups, women entrepreneurship and women-led companies.

Bulgaria

The Edge: Research and Business Development is a spin-off company of JA Bulgaria that aims to fill-in the gap between innovative, high-tech academic research and its commercialization worldwide. The Edge: R&BD is building upon more than 20 years’ experience of JA Bulgaria in entrepreneurship education.
The pre-accelerator Beyond was designed and developed by The Edge: R&BD in 2019 and targets young people (BSc, MSc and PhD level), JA alumni (18+), as well as young professionals that want to work on creating and developing lean technology startups in specific thematic verticals.
