Work Plan

The HER FUND project is built around 6 Work Packages, as described below

WP
Innovation ecosystem landscape analysis
  • Build on existing information (reports, initiatives, platforms) to analyze the landscape
  • Engage and collaborate with local stakeholders to collect inputs.
  • Make recommendations and suggestions for improvement based on feedback from the field in both LCIEs and BCIEs
WP
Co-design and co-development of programmes to facilitate the entry of investors to LCIEs
  • Design a bespoke programme based on the outputs from WP1
  • Co-develop each programme between LCIEs and BCEIs to ensure best practices are adjusted to specific needs
  • Target female entrepreneurs and investors, as well as business acceleration providers
  • Provide stakeholders with a greater understanding of current needs, opportunities, challenges, resources, and capabilities requirements
  • Develop methodologies to create a roadmap for implementing bespoke needs
WP
Experimentation and validation of the designed programmes
  • Test the programmes developed in WP2 in a real environment
  • Prepare for scaling the validated programmes in WP4 across a broader community and beyond the consortium
  • Use results and feedback from WP2 to make necessary adjustments
WP
Acceleration and scaling of the activities
  • Maximize the attraction of investors to LCIEs and connect them to local women-led companies
  • Focus on accelerating and scaling activities tested and validated in WP3
  • Spread the programmes to the broadest community
  • Strongly engage with external partners, network members, and local actors
WP
Communication, Dissemination and Outreach
  • Ensure maximum visibility of the project through tailored communication activities in order to raise awareness about HER FUND and reach out to society at large regarding the access to funding for women-led startups
  • Disseminate information about HER FUND to a wide range of stakeholders and to the public at large in order to engage the community behind the project and be active in transferring knowledge and results
  • Ensure the project legacy by creating the HER FUND European Hub in order to ensure sustainability of the network, and the newly established connections
WP
Project management and coordination
  • Implement the Work Plan and the achievement of the project objectives
  • Manage efficiently the project on a day-to-day basis
  • Monitor and deliver technical and financial reports
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with the European Commission
  • Facilitate proper interactions between collaborating partners, including with External partners
  • Organise project meetings
